We are located in Campbell --that's where our office warehouse space is.  Our hikers pick up their vehicle for the day from there and head out on pick ups typically by about 9am.  They can take dogs from Campbell and head north, but our main service area is Palo Alto through Atherton/Redwood City as that is where the business originated and we receive many referrals in that area.  Since moving to Campbell, we have begun to receive more dogs south bay, as well.

We always are watching the weather conditions predicted and present.  If it is unsafe, we will cut the hike short, but it is always our goal to get a full and enjoyable hike in.

• Our team brings water and a collapsible bowl with them so the dogs are able to get water throughout their hike.  We find this helps prevent overheating and dehydration, as well as exuberant drinking which could result in bloat.  

We are enrichment focused, which means that we go at each dog's pace.  We group them based on compatibility and some dogs will run at amazing speeds covering tons of acreage, while others prefer sauntering and enjoying the view and smells.  For this reason, we don't guarantee a set number of miles for each hike, but we do guarantee full satisfaction when they return home 🙂

If you have a special request for method of pick up or drop off (so as to reinforce a behavior you're working on) just ask!  We will always do our best to accommodate such requests as long as it is manageable for our team. This is something we can discuss during a meet and greet or you can send an email with the specifics beforehand.

• Our weekly minimum is 2 days a week.  In some cases, we may suggest (or expect) three days a week for your dog should it seem needed.  This is something we would discuss with you. The intention is that we are looking to have well balanced dogs and for some of them and their lifestyles, two days would be a tease and they would benefit from more time with us.
• No breaks during probationary period, which can be anywhere from 4- 6 months while we are getting to know your dog.

We hike Mondays through Fridays.  If you need weekend or holiday walks, we recommend you ask in advance and we will check with our team if someone is available.   We LOVE working with dogs, but we also need a break from working, so it is hit or miss for those requests. 

Dog parents often ask about boarding.  We can accept a few within our own homes for current hiking dogs.  We do recommend you have another option available in case one of us is unable to watch your dog.  All dogs need to do a trial once or twice before being able to board for a longer stretch.
